Hon. Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, Sierra Leone, Attorney General & Minister of Justice, has been appointed as a” A LIFE MEMBER OF THE GOVERNING COUNCIL OF THE AFRICAN BAR ASSOCIATION”.
The African Bar Association (AFBA), today presented two official letters to Hon. Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara – The Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The letters are communicating two separate decisions of the AFBA Governing Council. The decisions were reached at the last Governing Council meeting in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
The first letter contains a Communication of the Council’s Decision for Sierra Leone to host the African Bar Association Human Rights and Leardership Training Institute in Freetown.
The second letter is notifying the Hon. J. F. Kamara of his election as a Life Member of the Governing Council of the African Bar Association.
AFBA is the fearless voice of the Legal Profession in Africa that brings together the brightest minds in the legal world for the betterment of Africa. The Association comprises lawyers and lawyers’ associations from the five Sub-regions of the continent.
The presentation which took place at the conference room of the Ministry of Justice of the the Republic of Sierra Leone was graced by a powerful delegatin from AFBA comprising Mrs. Rhoda Nuni, Vice President – West Africa; Elvis T. Enoh, Esq., Director of Information and Protocol; and Alpha Boyzie Kamara,Information and Protocol Officer – AFBA Sierra Leone.
